Spicy smashed cucumber salad

Ingredients

2 cucumbers

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon red chili flake

1 tablespoon vinegar

1 tablespoon soy sauce

3 garlic cloves

3 dried red chilies

Method

1. Smash the cucumbers

 

2. Slice the smashed cucumbers into chunks, put the cucumber chunks in a bowl

 

3. Chop the garlic, rinse and chop the dried red chilies

 

4. Add soy sauce, vinegar, and salt in a bowl, mix until even, set aside

 

5. Heat a skillet over low heat, pour vegetable oil in the skillet, heat the oil until shimmering, add the garlic and dried red chilies in the skillet, stir until fragrant

 

6. Add the red chili flakes in the skillet, stir until fragrant

 

7. Pour the mixed sauce in the skillet, stir until even

 

8. Pour the mixed sauce in the bowl

 

9. Mix until even, done
