Peanut carrot and celery salad

Ingredients

300 grams peanut kernel

1 celery stalk

1/2 carrot

2 star anise

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon chicken powder

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 piece ginger

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Method

1. Immerse the peanut kernels in water for 4 hours

 

2. Rinse the peanut kernels, drop in a stew pan, pour some water in the stew pan, add the star anise, ginger, and star anise in the stew pan

 

3. Add some salt in the stew pan

 

4. Add some chicken powder in the stew pan, heat the stew pan over high heat, bring to a boil, turn down to medium heat, boil for 10 minutes

 

5. Turn off the heat, simmer for 30 minutes

 

6. Dice the carrot, slice the celery

 

7. Blanch the carrot and celery in boiling water for 3 minutes, take out, drain

 

8. Put the peanut kernels in a large bowl

 

9. Add the blanched carrot and celery in the bowl

 

10. Season with salt

 

11. Season with chicken powder

 

12. Add the soy sauce in the bowl

 

13. Add the sesame oil in the bowl

 

14. Mix until even

 

15. Serve
