Sauteed shrimps with lotus root slices

Ingredients

450 grams shrimp

400 grams lotus root

5 green onions

2 tablespoons baked bean sauce

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

3 red chilies

1 piece ginger

5 garlic cloves

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon white sugar

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

2 tablespoons cooking wine

1/2 teaspoon chicken powder

4 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 teaspoon roasted white sesame seed

Method

1. Remove feelers and legs from the shrimp, devein the shrimp, rinse, drain

 

2. Drop the shrimp in a bowl, pour cooking wine and ground black pepper in the bowl, mix until even, set aside for 10 minutes

 

3. Peel and slice the lotus root

 

4. Slice the red chilies, stems of green onions, and garlic cloves, shred the ginger, slice the leaves of green onions

 

5. Heat a skillet over medium heat, pour vegetable oil in the skillet, drop the shrimp in the skillet

 

6. Stir until golden, take out the shrimp, leave the oil in the skillet

 

7. Drop the lotus root slices in the skillet, stir until light golden, take out, leave the oil in the skillet

 

8. Throw red chilies, garlic cloves, ginger, black peppers, and stems of green onions in the skillet, stir until fragrant

 

9. Pour the baked bean sauce in the skillet, stir until fragrant

 

10. Pour the shrimp and lotus root slices back in the skillet, stir until even

 

11. Season with salt

 

12. Season with white sugar

 

13. Season with chicken powder

 

14. Sprinkle the leaves of green onions in the skillet, stir until even

 

15. Sprinkle the roasted white sesame seeds in the skillet

 

16. Serve
