Ingredients

250 grams / 9 ounces pork, minced

1 tablespoon soy sauce

2 tablespoons vinegar

1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons white sugar

1/3 egg, beaten

1 piece ginger, sliced

2 garlic cloves, sliced

1 piece scallion, sliced

1/4 cup starch

2 cups vegetable oil

1/2 teaspoon white sesame

Directions

1. Drop the sliced garlic, ginger, and scallion in a bowl, pour little water in the bowl, soak for 30 minutes

 

2. Drop the minced pork in another bowl, pour the soaking water in the bowl, pour the beaten egg in the bowl, sprinkle some salt in the bowl, mix until even

 

3. Sprinkle some starch in the bowl, mix until even

 

4.  Divide the minced pork into many pieces, roll each piece into a ball

 

5. Dredge each pork ball in the starch, until coated

 

6. Heat a pot over medium heat, pour the vegetable oil in the pot, drop the pork balls in the pot, fry for 5 minutes, take out

 

7. Drop the pork balls in the pot, fry for another 2 minutes, until golden, take out the pork balls, pour the oil in another bowl

 

8.  Pour soy sauce, vinegar, white sugar, and the remaining salt in the pot, mix little water with a tablespoon of starch until even, pour the starch water in the pot, mix until even, pour some hot vegetable oil in the pot, bring to a boil

 

9. Drop the fried pork balls in the pot, mix until coated

 

10. Serve, sprinkle some white sesame on the top
